Intensive Care
Sierra View operates a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit for patients who are critically ill or injured and require immediate and continuous life support and/or organ support. 
Most ICU patients are transferred from the Emergency Department or are post-operative patients who have very recently undergone a major or emergency surgery.
Sierra View's Intensive Care Unit is equipped with leading edge technology, including advanced respirators, ventilators, and intravenous therapies. The ICU is staffed with experienced nurses, doctors, and intensive care professionals 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Telemetry
Sierra View's 20-bed Telemetry Department operates in conjunction with our ICU and is dedicated to patients with who require continuous monitoring through the use of advanced measuring, recording, and transmitting devices. This medical technology closely monitors a variety of vital signs and can quickly alert care staff if the patient is suffering from an acute or dangerous condition.
