Our Breastfeeding Resource Center offers a range of supportive services for expectant mothers and throughout the breastfeeding journey. Proudly partnered with First 5 Tulare County, we provide free resources and expert guidance in both private and group settings. As Tulare County's sole Baby-Friendly hospital, we prioritize the mental and physical well-being of children by adhering to the First 5 California Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.
If you would like additional assistance with breastfeeding after you leave the hospital, you can make an appointment to visit privately with a Lactation Consultant at the Breastfeeding Resource Center. A Lactation Consultant can assist you with:
Our Breastfeeding Classes are taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and provide clear, researched based breastfeeding information to expectant mothers and their partners. Classes are available monthly in both English and Spanish on the same days. Classes take place at the Breastfeeding Resource Center. Topics for the class are: breastfeeding expectations, strategies for success, nursing positions, and latching. DOWNLOAD THE FLYER HERE.
