The SVDH League, more affectionately known as “The Pink Ladies” are a dedicated group of phone.jpgvolunteers who have served the hospital since 1963. Currently 127 members strong, the Pink Ladies provide assistance to patients, visitors, and employees. Volunteers staff and manage the lobby information desk, volunteer desk and the surgery information desk. Their duties include, but aren’t limited to: escorting patients, assisting with patient transfers between departments, operating the hospital’s Gift Shop, performing routine deliveries to patients and deliveries to and from various departments. The Pink Ladies donated an estimated 56,000 hours per year to the hospital.
