Childbirth Class

An educational experience for expectant mothers as they prepare for the birthing experience. Focuses on breathing techniques and characteristics of newborns. English classes first four Mondays of the month at 6:00 p.m. Spanish class last Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m.

Diabetes Meal Planning

Basic Meal Planning (Day Class)
When:  Every other month on third Wednesday
Time:   2:00-3:30 p.m.
Where: Hospital Conference Rooms
Dates:  February 17th
           April 21st
           June 16th
           August 18th
           October 20th
           December 15th

Basic Meal Planning (Night Class)
When:  Every other month on the third Wednesday
Time:   6:00-7:30 p.m.
Where: Hospital Conference Rooms
Dates:  January 20th
           March 17th
           May 19th
           July 21st
           September 15th
           November 17th

Advanced Diabetic Class
(Carbohydrate Counting)
(Attend basic meal planning class before coming to this class)
When:  Four Times per year
Time:  2:00-3:30 p.m.
Dates:  January 20th
           March 17th
           May 19th
           September 15th
           
Attendees may purchase a Meal Planning book for $3.00 from American Dietetic Association.

Classes are taught by a registered dietitian and classes are free. Classes are subject to change. Please call 788-6163 to register!

Look Good, Feel Better

A free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program founded in 1989 and supported by corporate donors to help women offset appearance-related changes from cancer treatment.

Classes are the second Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m.

HeartSaver

General CPR class sponsored by the American Heart Association. Learn basic CPR skills for use on adults, children and infants as well as how to help someone who is choking. $45 fee.

Third Wednesday and last Tuesday of each month.

Cancer Support

A compassionate environment for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer. The newly diagnosed, cancer survivors, and friends and family members of those who have experience cancer will find this a useful, informative, and emotionally supportive experience.

Third Thursday of each month. 6:00 p.m.
