2021 End of Year Newsletter

Words of Gratitude from the Sierra View Foundation's Board Chair, Janice Castle

Throughout 2021, healthcare workers in the country have continued to face the on-going
challenges presented by the pandemic. Sierra View Foundation (SVF) continues to recognize
the immense sacrifices and contributions of our frontline healthcare workers at Sierra View
Medical Center. From hearing about the very first COVID-19 case in March of 2020 to helping
bid farewell to 2021 with the same commitment to patient safety, our healthcare superheroes
continue to amaze us.

As we prepare to welcome a new year, we have taken the time to reflect on the past year and how we have shown up for each other in our local community. While it may be difficult to feel any sense of control during the pandemic, there are things we can take an active role in.
