Classes & Support Groups

Breastfeeding Classes

Our Breastfeeding Classes are taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and provide clear, researched based breastfeeding information to expectant mothers and their partners. Classes are available monthly in both English and Spanish on the same days. Classes take place at the Breastfeeding Resource Center. Topics for the class are: breastfeeding expectations, strategies for success, nursing positions, and latching. Download the flyer here.

• Spanish – First Thursday of each month from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• English – First Thursday of each month from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Support Groups

Doing what is natural doesn't always come naturally. We are here to support you. Breastfeeding Support Groups are available monthly in both English and Spanish on the same days. Support Groups take place at the Breastfeeding Resource Center. Download the flyer here.

• Spanish – First Thursday of each month from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.
• English – First Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
