Breastfeeding Class

Preparing to breastfeed can make all the difference. The Sierra View Medical Center Breastfeeding Resource Center offers free monthly Breastfeeding Classes designed for expectant mothers and their support person to learn what to expect before baby arrives.

Taught by our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), these classes cover breastfeeding basics, positioning, latching techniques, common challenges, and practical tips to help you get off to a confident start. You'll receive research-based information, have the opportunity to ask questions, and leave feeling more prepared for your breastfeeding journey.

The classes are open to all expectant parents in the community, whether you plan to deliver at Sierra View Medical Center or another hospital. No registration is required.
