Breastfeeding Support Group

Are you breastfeeding or considering breastfeeding? Doing what is natural does not always come naturally.

The Sierra View Medical Center Breastfeeding Resource Center is here to support you every step of the way. Our center provides trusted information, guidance, and encouragement for breastfeeding parents at any stage.

In addition to breastfeeding classes and one-on-one outpatient support after hospital discharge, we now offer free peer-led lactation support groups. These groups provide a welcoming space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other breastfeeding parents. Sessions are facilitated by trained peer counselors and supported by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), ensuring accurate, evidence-based guidance.

Support groups are held at Sierra View Medical Center and are open to all breastfeeding parents in the community, whether you delivered at Sierra View or elsewhere. No registration is required.

You do not have to navigate breastfeeding alone. Help, education, and support are available when you need it most.
