Vax for the WIN

To reinforce the importance of vaccination to protect public health in the face of a pandemic, CDPH is conducting a series of drawings for prizes. Drawings for $50,000 will take place on June 4 and June 11, 2021. Fifteen persons will be drawn at random on each of those two dates. A drawing for ten $1.5 million prizes (totaling $15 million) will take place on June 15, 2021. Vaccinated Californians are automatically entered through the statewide California Immunization Registry (CAIR). Those getting vaccinated starting May 27, the first 2 million will get a $50 cash gift card that is redeemed 7-10 days after their vaccination series is complete. CDPH estimates it takes 7-10 days to fully get entered into the CAIR vaccine registry following the administering of the vaccination.
