Key Precautions & Screening

We ask that you focus your efforts on the following key precautions:

  • Maintaining a distance of 6 feet from each other, wherever and whenever possible
  • Practicing hand hygiene
  • Seeking medical attention if experiencing symptoms
  • Wearing a mask when you around anyone who is not within your household

Mandatory Screening

The following are COVID-19 symptoms and to ensure the utmost safety, all patients and visitors will be screened by answering the the following question(s):

Have you developed any of the following symptoms in the last 48 hours?

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or new loss of smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop any of the symptoms above, please call your primary physician or 2-1-1. Your physician will connect with the Tulare County Public Health Branch to determine if testing is appropriate.
