Breastfeeding Class

Are you breastfeeding or considering breastfeeding? Doing what is natural doesn’t always come naturally.

The Sierra View Medical Center Breastfeeding Resource Center offers outpatient support after hospital discharge, breastfeeding classes, and breastfeeding support groups. Our Breastfeeding Classes are taught by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and provide clear, research-based breastfeeding information to expectant mothers and their partners. Classes are available monthly in both English and Spanish on the same days. Classes take place at the Breastfeeding Resource Center. Topics for the class are: breastfeeding expectations, strategies for success, nursing positions, and latching
