As a full-service health care center, Sierra View provides treatment for patients who are critically ill or injured. Most of our critical care patients are transferred to our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from our Emergency Department or are post-operative patients recovering from major and emergency surgeries.
At Sierra View Medical Center, we operate a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit, equipped with leading edge technology and staffed with experienced doctors, nurses, and professionals. Our ICU staff is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year to ensure our patients get the immediate and continuous medical care they need. We serve patients in need of life support and organ support, using advanced equipment including advanced respirators, ventilators, and intravenous therapies.
In conjunction with our Intensive Care Unit, Sierra View houses a 20-bed Telemetry Department dedicated to patients who require continuous monitoring through the use of advanced measuring, recording, and transmitting devices. This advanced medical technology closely monitors a variety of vital signs and is designed to quickly alert care staff if the patient suffers an acute or dangerous change in condition.
Contact our team online or by phone if you have questions or concerns about our critical care services. Please visit our Emergency Department if you require immediate medical care.
