Cohort #8 Vizient/AACN(TM) Nurse Residents Graduate!
Our Nurse Residents have a lot to smile about. Recently, Cohort #8 of the Vizient/AACN™ Nurse Residency Program completed their program. New nurses participating in the program receive a comprehensive onboarding experience and placement in a variety of units. Throughout the year-long program, nurses are placed within a cohort that meets monthly. The three key areas of focus are patient outcomes, leadership, and professional development. Examples include robust training to adequately assess changes in patient conditions, such as within sepsis alert and rapid response scenarios.
