Outpatient Surgery

At Sierra View Medical Center, we prioritze investmenting in the latest technologies and retaining an expert care team. We perform many surgical procedures on an outpatient basis. Patients having procedures that once required days or weeks of recovery time in a hospital setting, are now sleeping in their own beds just hours after their surgery.

We offer two types of outpatient surgical services, Flex Care and Ambulatory Surgery Department. Flex Care procedures are performed in the hospital, with the patient usually discharged after just a few hours.

Our Ambulatory Surgery Department (ASD) opened in 2006 and is located in a facility just a block west of the main hospital. The ASD features a comfortable, calming setting free of the cold, "clinical" feel that many associate with similar health care facilities. Large windows allow natural light to feed into our warm and friendly waiting and registration areas. Our caring staff welcomes both patients and their families with a smile.
