Each year, the Sierra View Foundation hosts an annual black-tie Gala that
brings the community together for an evening of fun and glamour!
This year's gala will be held at the Porterville Fairgrounds, where guests
will enjoy some of the finer things in life just as the Lifestyles of
the Rich and Famous.
Other than bubbly and socializing, the night’s entertainment includes
a live band, the PIMS (People in the Moment) and a live auction where
the best bidders will win weekend getaways, experiences for their taste
buds, a night on the town with limo service and dinner included and other
adventures within driving distance. The evening’s auction will be
led by a favorite duo, Tulare County Sheriff, Mike Boudreaux and emceed
by District Supervisor, Dennis Townsend.
A gala is not complete without exceptional food; and not just any food,
local cuisine from Fugazzis, a Central Valley favorite that will soon
open a new restaurant location in downtown Porterville, as well as a decadent
dessert provided by Stafford's Chocolates.
All proceeds for the 13th Annual Gala Event will support the funding for a much needed advanced
and more sophisticated Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanner. The MRI
machine will help progress Sierra View Medical Center’s Imaging
Services and have a direct impact in patient care.
Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams are as wonderful as they seem when paired
with a party with a purpose and locals with a passion for their community
and the future of healthcare.
