Sierra View Medical Center believes everyone should have access to high quality health care services regardless of their financial situation. If you need options paying your medical bills, we are here to help.

How We Can Help

The Sierra View Financial Counselor team can help you by assisting with finding affordable insurance coverage, qualifiying for financial assistance and sharing different payment plan options to make paying your bills easier. Payment Plans

With our payment plans, you can pay your bill in smaller amounts spread out over time. To learn more, please call us at (559) 784-6200.

Medi-Cal Coverage

We can help you obtain coverage through Medi-Cal and/or other programs. If you have an upcoming visit with Sierra View Medical Center or have received care within the last 90 days, contact our financial counselors at (559) 791-3970 option 3.

If you do not qualify for a government program, you may qualify for financial assistance based on your family size and income. You can complete an application when you are receiving care or by calling our financial assistance team at (559) 791-3970 option 3.

How to Apply

Patients may request an application for assistance by calling the Financial Counselors department at (559) 788-6002, (559) 788-6143, or (559) 791-3970 option 3, or may obtain an application from Sierra View Medical Center’s website at FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE Application. Documentation required to determine eligibility is included on the application.

The Sierra View Medical Center Financial Assistance application form is available in both English and Spanish, and any other language deemed necessary by the methods discussed in Section VIII, below, and shall be available in any registration or patient accounting area, as well as on the Sierra View Medical Center website. For patients who speak a language other than English or Spanish, or who need other accessibility accommodations, Sierra View Medical Center will provide appropriate accommodations, language assistance services, and application assistance free of charge.

Qualification Guidelines

Sierra View Medical Center financial assistance qualification hinges on patient’s family size and income based on the Federal Poverty Guidelines established by Health and Human Services.

Hospital Bill Complaint Program

The Hospital Bill Complaint Program is a California state program which reviews hospital decisions about whether you qualify for help paying your hospital bill. If you believe you were wrongly denied financial assistance, you may file a complaint with the Hospital Bill Complaint Program.
