Important Notice: Financial Assistance/Charity Care Requests

Dear patients and families,

As we continue to monitor updates regarding the state of current events surrounding COVID-19 and any potential risk to our patients and staff, Sierra View Medical Center (SVMC) has made the decision to have all financial assistance/charity care applications be completed online and emailed, faxed, or mailed. In addition, we will temporarily not accept payments in person at our cashiers office, however, online and over the phone is acceptable.

We understand that helping you with your financial concerns is of the utmost importance and our goal is to provide you with any assistance needed. If you need help with the completion of your application, please contact our Financial Counselors at (559)788-6143 or (559)788-6002. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the application and can provide assistance with completion over the telephone.

Patient Financial Services at Sierra View Medical Center may perform the following as a courtesy to our patients:

  • Verify your insurance coverage.
  • Provide you with an estimated patient portion of charges as determined by your insurance plan.
  • Bill your primary and secondary insurance carriers as provided by you at the time of registration.
  • Answer questions from you or your insurance carrier regarding charged incurred.
  • Upon request, send your statement showing insurance payment(s). Automatically generate statements for the patient responsibility as indicated by your insurance.

Please know that all of our patients are charged and billed equally, without preference. If you have reason to believe otherwise, please contact one of our Patient Financial Counselors at (559) 791-3970.
